which one works faster?

a a raw food diet with sometimes cooked veggies or a low carb diet?? i don’t like eating meat, but i want fast results and im very faithful to my diet plans. i enjoy trying different diets, but this time i want pretty fast results. does anyone have a suggestion? or knows which one of the two is fastest?

My husband has high blood pressure and wants to lose 20-30 pounds. We did a fast with our church that was extremely strict(i.e. no sugars, carbs, meat, dairy, etc) and he felt great after the first two weeks. Problem is I felt miserable and we have two children who hate trying new things. I want to start cooking better and he insists that a carb-free diet will help him shed the weight and lower his blood pressure, but I have also heard the same benefits can be achieved through a sugar-free diet, which would help everyone in the family. Has anyone tried these diets and can attest to the benefits of them? There are plenty of books out there but I haven’t found one that seems to have the answers I need. So I figured I would seek those who have been there-done that! Thanks everyone!
