I was talking with some friends the other day about various recipes and my one friend told me that her Italian grandmother use to pull the dandelions from the yard and cook the stem somehow and neighbors would come from all over to eat it. She said she absolutely love it.
If she wasn;t pulling my leg (which I don’t think she was), does anyone know the recipe. All she can remember is her grandma did something with the stems?
If there is such a recipe, I’d like to try to make it for her.

I want to make italian sausage tonight for dinner. I was thinking about making it with cheese, tomato sauce and put it on rolls. But what is the best way to cook the sausage with it burning on the outside also if anyone as any other good ideas on what to make with italian sausage other then with pasta would be great. Thanks!
