I ordered a "plain" chicken, not the parmesan or anything of the sort, just plain ol’ chicken. The waitress said they marinade it in their own Italian dressing & cook it on a flat top grill/stove. If anyone knows how to make this, much obliged!

The marinade is based in the Italian dressing but has additional ingredients. This is a fairly close approximation:
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon white sugar
2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons cumin
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
2 tablespoons salt
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic salt, onion powder, sugar, cumin, oregano, pepper, thyme, basil, parsley, celery salt and regular salt. Store in a tightly sealed container if not used immediately.
Whisk together 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1/3 cup canola oil, 1/3 cup olive oil, 2 tablespoons pomegranate juice, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, and 3 tablespoons of the seasoning mix. Increase as needed based upon the amount of chicken being cooked.
