friday my friends are coming over for a sleepover. well usually a sleepover is filled with alot of sodas, chips, and candy, but see, im on a low carb diet so i cant eat any of those things.
my question: Anyone got lists of foods me and my friends can eat that are exceptable on a low carb diet?
Ive already got eggs for breakfast….but what about snacks and stuff??
(You see, they dont know im on this diet, so i dont want it to be obvious)
and plus my mom is helping me so she usually cooks meat and vegtables for dinner.

Well , there are a lot of foods that are very low carb almost too many to list, all meats, cheeses except cottage cheese, cream, eggs, fish, and many vegetables, like Sprouts (bean, alfalfa, etc.) ,Greens – lettuces, spinach, chard, collards, mustard greens, kale, Radicchio, Bok Choy, Celery, Radishes, Sea Vegetables (Nori, etc), Cabbage (or sauerkraut) ,Mushrooms, Jicama, Avocado, Cucumbers, Asparagus, Green Beans, Broccoli Cauliflower, Peppers, Green Bell Peppers, Red Bell Peppers, Jalapeno Peppers, Summer Squash, Zuchinni, Scallions or green onions, Bamboo Shoots,
Leeks, Brussels Sprouts, Snow Peas, Tomatoes, Eggplant , Tomatillos, Artichokes, Fennel Onions, and berries and lemons for fruit.
For drinks, you can have unsweetened coffee, tea, soda, water (the best choice).
Mainly avoid bread, rice, noodles, potatoes, any types of sugar or sugary drinks.
I try to eat very healthy food that is low carb and I get a lot of my low carb snacks, low carb bread products and condiments from LowCarbShop.com. They also have some recipes. I don’t eat a lot of dairy so I buy almond milk and coconut milk and use coconut oil for cooking with olive oil and butter. My favorite snack right now is Bran Crispbread with just about any low carb food on top.
Hope that helps.

Just avoid most breads, pastas, rice, potatoes and fruit and veg and just eat what you’re left with.

Avocado mashed with mayo seasoned with cayenne you could also add rotel tomatoes – & eaten with pork rinds (Bakenets are my fav brand)
Deviled Eggs
Strawberry Ice Cream – Cream, frozen strawberries, artificial sweetener, a stick blender – will make instant soft serve ice cream in 3 minutes
Spicy Chicken Wings serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing –
or make Queso with Velveeta & rotel tomatoes heated to melting.

It looks like you enjoy cooking as much as I do. My friend found this cool place to get recipes the restaurants use. I started making some of these at home, and now I have to force myself to take the kids out to eat. lol
