My husband has been put on a low everything diet, I dont have a clue what to cook. He is a BIG junk food junkie. I made chicken and veggie soup lastnight that did not go over well at all. Also he puts in long days at work 10-15 hrs as a driver and I need to make sure he has plenty to munch through out that time. Ideas please!!!

Stock him up on fruits and veggies.
With that many restrictions, it will be hard to make things taste good to him (especially if he is used to junk food). He may just need to be a man and suck it up. As long as you are home-making your foods, from scratch, that will help A LOT with fat, carb, sugar and sodium content.
Good luck!

Nothing — that is why you will lose weight!
A good snack for during the day is lowfat cream cheese rolled in a pice of sliced turkey — high protien, low everything else.
For dinner try going with a "meaty" fish — like swordfish with lemon. Salmon is good too.
You could try and introduce salads as well, but add some meat to them… so lettace, with other salad stuff, and some nice grilled chicken on top.

He has been put on this diet because he earned it so don’t feel bad if things you cook don’t go over well it isn’t your fault.
Grilled chicken is great as it has the smokey flavor (more manly) and cuts out cooking with fat.
In fact grill grill grill (George Foreman if outside is impossible).
Ask him what types of things he would be willing to eat as well and work together on this. If he really wants to make the change he needs to suck it up and realize that somethings he is just going to have to get used to. Most importantly be positive about this.

That’s a hard diet to cook for.I would think they want him on a meat and salad kind of diet.I know potatoes are low fat, but are considered a carb food.Just try to keep the veggies flavor ful, and pray he likes beans……..
