So I read that there is apparently a weight loss diet, which is opposite to the low-carb one, where you pretty much live on potatoes. The idea behind it is that potatoes fill you up quicker…at lower calories. Has anybody heard of/tried this diet, and is it effective?
Also, what are some good ways to cook baby potatoes (so I can incorporate some parts of this diet into my life) so that microwave/boil/bake will produce some flavour? I don’t want to add much/any oil to it.
Thanks

ANY diet where you live mostly on one type of food is bad for you. Fresh veggies, lean protein and exercise works wonders.
A small drizzle of olive oil over the potatoes, a little bit of rosemary, parsley, salt and pepper. Roast at 375 for 30-40 minutes. Yum!

Well, I haven’t heard of the diet, but this is a way I like to cook baby potatoes. Heat the oven to 400. In a bowl, mix together the potatoes, crushed rosemary, minced garlic, and extra virgin olive oil. Put them in a pan and bake for an hour. I’m actually making this right now.
