I felt really hot, like a hot flash and I felt really nauseous. This is the first time this has happened. But I often have cramps in my lower abdomen. I am not for sure what is going on, should I go to my doctor?

Sometimes, while standing for long periods, people lock their knees. Doing this restricts your circulation, thus resulting in feeling light-headed or actually fainting.

if it happens on a regular basis, yes!
just the once, go ahead to your family doc, not ur ob-gyn.

Lightheadedness can occur when your blood sugar gets low. If it had been awhile since you had eaten it could be that. If the cramping is accompanied by the hot flash it could be an overdose of hormones that happens before your cycle. If this continues you should definitely go to the doctor. If you have constantly cold skin or you pull your bottom eyelid down and it is white inside you could be anemic.
