I have a small can of chunk light tuna. I’m tired, sore and I don’t feel like cooking, although I want a protein rich snack. All I have is basic ingredients.. such as

mayonnase
tomatoes
cucumber
sliced olives
tarter sauce
relish
etc… basic things like that

A good tastey, simple snack idea would be great!
I also have some tastey whole-grain sesame seed crackers!

I like to make tuna melts sometimes!

Preheat oven at 350. I use 2 pieces of bread per can of tuna. Butter the bottom side of the bread. Drain tuna. In a bowl mix tuna, relish, any chopped veggies, and seasonings you’d like. Scoop half and half on the bread. Cover with sliced tomatoes. Cover with cheese. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for about 5, then switch to broil for 3-5 minutes (or until cheese is starting to bubble and brown). Let stand a few minutes right out of oven as it should be very hot!

You may add mayo if you like tuna melts with mayo!

    1 can tuna
    2 tsp. green relish
1 tbsp Kraft Miracle Whip salad dressing I like the taste better than MAYO.
    mix well
If you use mayonnaise instead of the Miracle Whip, you will need 1/4 tsp pepper and drop of lemon juice
    spoon onto your crackers
sliced tomato, cucumber and olives are great sides.
    mmm good

Put the cucumbers, olives, tartar sauce and relish away. Mix the mayo into the tuna, put it on the crackers and top with sliced tomato.

You could make a quick tuna salad or tuna salad sandwhich on bread, crackers, or pita bread is my favorite. If you have crackers, you could make some tuna salad with some mayo, a little vinegar, a squirt of lemon juice, and a can of tuna. Then put a slice of tomato, cucumber, olives, or whatever you like on the top or bottom of the tuna. Cheese is really good with it too. Hope this helps!

This is just a quick thought……….cut the tomato in half and scoop out some of the mushy tomato middle, take your tuna add mayo to taste and texture of your liking and add a bit a little bit of relish just a bit, then some pepper and mix. Stuff this into each half of the tomato.

Drain tuna, 2 chopped boiled eggs, mayonnaise, relish, celery, apples chopped. Curry powder for flavor, salt , pepper

Apple with some lemon juice in tuna give the tuna a whole new flavor.

Mix with mayonaisse, spread on crackers (Ritz is preferable, especially if its the baked vegetable stuff), add toppings as you please.

Mix with a bit of mayo and eat on whole wheat bread, if you have that. If you don’t, slice the cucumber up and put the tuna on the slices and eat it that way, you could even put sliced black olives on top of the tuna on the cuc. You could also hollow out the tomato and fill it with the tuna/mayo.

I don’t like my tuna salad to have crunchy things in it, so there isn’t much I would do with the relish.
