I’ve been working out now for over a month and I feel better and I see a little bit of a difference in the way my clothes fit…they’re not as uncomforable anymore. But I need to change what I eat. I guess my problem lies at home…I eat way too many carbs…I LOVE THEM and I know that’s my problem. How can I work them into my meal plans in a healthy way and still be satisfied? It’s not like I eat a lot of junk food either other then a 1-2 chocolate bars a week (I will NEVER give up chocolate) and it’s rare that I eat fast food and if I do I never finish the fries and drink. I don’t really know how to cook healthy food. Can you suggest any sites that have EASY recipies for people trying to lower their carb intake?

it’s a very sad situation. the food industry makes it cheaper for u to go out and get fries and a hamburger than it is to buy a bunch of fruits from a store. ever compared a price of the fruit salad at mcdonalds to its burgers or mcchicken.
we get used to eating fast food and become cranlky when we haven’t eaten it.that’s because serotonin is released when we eat carbohydrate rich foods like pizzas, cookies, chips, donuts. the same chemical is released when depressed people take prozac to make them feel in a lighter mood. it will take some self-disciplining and looking for interesting recipes to get rid of that excess carbs on ur plate. try water dense fruits like honeydew, grapes, cantaloupe, watermelons.eat a good breakfast, it will make u less likely to gorge those snacks and eat lotsa protein. try avoiding red meats.

eat more protein and that will take calories away from the carbohydrates, also eat complex carbohydrates like rice, beans, other stuff like that will fill you up cause theres more of it and its not so calorie dense.
