I was wondering should I run an add in the paper, post flyers or what. I have experience taking care of my great grandmother who had Dementia and Alzeimers disease like cooking, light housework, bathing, for 4 yrs so that should count.

What do you mean when you say that you are getting rejected by employers? Are you certified as a CNA? Maybe that could be why.
Do you have a criminal background? Maybe this is why they are turning you away?
I am surprised to hear that they would turn anyone away because CNA’s are in demand right now.
Keep searching. Good luck!

have you been certified a na? you may think about taking a class, psbl offered at local nursing home for certification, time approx 6 months, sometimes this is paid by the nursing home in exchange for you working there for a time.
