how much energy is saved in UK each year by cooking by microwave as opposed to conventional cooking?
Nobody ever makes a fuss about all the energy that we actually ARE saving NOW by using microwave cookers AND energy efficient light bulbs in the home. So if we all still used conventional cookers & filament light bulbs, how much more energy would we be consuming now???? I’m sure it must be 10 to 15%

Are you still COOKING your food? I’m living with a clear conscience…squatting in a dark cave, living off roots and berries.
