Ok so I have an eatin disorder. I have gone up in my weight and down (never thin still chunky) my entire life. I want to loose the weight and keep it off. I am a size 16 and that is after being a 12 (this is my smallest) about a year ago. I am tire dof the spiral, and I am tired of seeing everythign in black and white meaning if I eat I get fat if I dont I loose weight but I feel sick most of the time durring that stage.
I want to not have food on my mind all the time. I am always focused on it for some reason even when I am not eating. I want to learn to eat healthy for my fiance and I and this is another problem for me. WE are on a tight budget, how can I cook healthy for us if we can afford to only eat hamburger helper. In a perfect world I want my callories to be 100 for breakfast, none to 200 for lunch, and 0-600 for dinner… how can I accomplish this, feel full and not stress about gaining weight. I am getting married in march and watn to be stunning for it.. Any adivce? pro mia sites are a down fall for me, I search for thinspo all the time, my fiance is hard though on my purging so I am unable to do it at home anymore because he keeps track of it and flips out if it happens. I just want to be normal. I get bored with working out and cant keep my attention on it for long either. I am a dancer and I do move around I hate the TV and I am not a couch potato, but I am always thinking abotu stupid food. . HELP!!!!

Hi,
I have the same problem, last year I was size 8 and now I’m the size you are. It’s hard to go shopping and looking for the biggest size! Recently, I tried a diet and helped me drop 14lb the first week, it’s difficult, but you have to work hard if you want to recover your life. No sugar is allowed (only splenda), no fruits, just vegetables, meat, fish, poultry. Considering the price of natural food, I think this diet wouldn’t work for you, so here comes my best advice.
Drinking water is really helpful, try to drink 8 glasses of water everyday, walk al least 30 minutes and avoid fried food.
I also found a great site with tons of tips for being healthy:

You need more help than we can give you
Go to your doctor, they can help you develop a healthy eating and exercise program. And recommend someone to help you with your eating disorder.

Forget counting calories. Follow these steps …
1. Cut out all fried food (no exceptions)
2. No ice cream (ever)
3. No sugar soda
Cutting out these 3 things should allow you to drop 20 lbs off the bat immediately.
If you stop eating those things you constantly reach for EVENTUALLY you will lose the taste for them and your eating habits will naturally improve.

The hardest thing to do is establish new habits. Working out AND eating healthy are the best ways to lose the weight in a healthy, reasonably speedy way. You have to find your niche. Sounds like its dancing for you. Do it more. Set up a schedule for it and devote a set amount of time to it daily and stick to it. I jog with my dog- he needs excercise, and so do I. It makes it a world easier of it is something that you already enjoy and you can bypass the traditional workouts for now unless you are out to strengthen or target a specific muscle group.
I am afraid that you seem to have your meals a bit backwards. It is much better to get your fewest calories at dinner as the unused ones get quickly stored as fat when you go to bed to rest. To feel full, keep fresh fruit around. Have one as a snack when ever you are feeling hungry.
Working out before you eat breakfast is another great way to boost your weight loss. If you haven’t eaten anything, your body is forced to draw on its store of body fats and sugars as fuel!
As far as cooking, yeah- it is much more difficult to eat healthy on a budget- but it can be done. Try using healthy staples like chicken and whole grain pasta as a base. Some sauteed peppers and a little bit of oregano and olive oil make this a healthy and tasty dish for a fairly small price. Grilled eggplant with some herbed orzo is great and also very affordable. You just have to get creative. A small investment from the spice aisle at your grocery store can give you a ton of flavor without the added fat or calories.
As far as the way you look at food- I am afraid you may need to seek counseling for that- I am not familiar and it takes a professional with a lot of insight to help change people’s views in my experience.
Good luck in your endeavors!
