So I am 14 years old. I am 100% dependent on my mom when it comes to cooking. I have to really on her all the time. I don’t like that at all.
I have told my mom countless of times to teach me how to cook but I don’t like my mom to be the teacher. If I even remotely mess up I get a snapped at pretty quickly. all I can say is my mom scares me when she tries to teach me. another thing is my mom cooks rather unhealthy things. i want to cook healthy things!
I may sound stupid but I’m a little scared to cook. One time I tried to cook a egg and the stove turned to fire :\
i’m scared I might mess up and then I just wasted a bunch of ingredients…. food gone to waste.
So yea… I also tried cooking pancakes once and it ended coming out very deformed looking. When my mom does it it comes out perfect. The pancake is in a shape of a circle and it is very thick ![]()
When I try to do it and it ends up in a perfect circle shape it is very very thin. It’s as flat as a tortilla.
I then add more pancake mix and it ends up filling up the entire pan and then when i try to flip it, it turns very deformed looking :\
My moms are perfect shape and thickness
Soo Yea….
Please can you also give me a recipe for a healthy breakfast lunch, and two different snacks and make sure the ingredients I can get are from Aldis or wal-mart.
i like mushrooms BTW ![]()

I think the next thing that you read should be a beginners cook book.
I mean that’s a beginning and there are lots of books out there for that, Some with the word HEALTHY in the title.
Many people cannot cook, so starting now you will be able to teach yourself.
Go to a library and see what’s there first. If you see something you like, think about getting it for yourself from a bookstore and using it every time you feel the urge to cook, like a dictionary for words, but instead a cookbook for recipes.
