Before I begin, I’ll give you a short background. I’ve been with my husband for 8 years and when we first met he weighed 135 pounds and was 5′ 11". Up until this point he had always been very active and could eat whatever he wanted and not gain weight. Soon after we met he started working night shifts and packed on quite a bit of weight (all in his stomach). He continued to eat unhealthy but obviously his metabolism isn’t what it used to be. Skip to 8 years later (he is now 28 years old) and he weighs 230 pounds (all in his stomach), rarely exercises and eats out at fast food places at least 5 times a week. He also has extremely high cholesterol and has been warned by his doctor and put on medication which he does not take. He loves fruits and veggies but he says by the time he gets off work he is too hungry to make it home. I have suggested he pack and prepare his meals ahead of time. He will do this for a day or two and then he will abruptly quit and say he doesn’t care anymore and go back to eating McDonald’s. Then he will get sick from eating all the fast food and say that that was his last bad meal (but it never is). I’ve tried everything: cooking healthy meals for him, helping him pack his lunch, being a supportive wife, being a bitchy wife, being a nagging wife, telling him to do what he wants, its his life. Nothing I do seems to have any effect on him. I’m very concerned for him and I am at my wits end. If he continues this he WILL have a heart attack or stroke by the time he’s 40. His doctor already told him this much. It scared him into eating better for a few months but then he was back to his old ways. How can I get it through to his head that this is serious?

If your husband is given a colonic, it will surely help him from desiring to eat junk food. Try it and
i am sure it will help him. Good luck and God bless. Cheers! :o )

Wow, sounds like a sticky situation.
Keep healthy foods in the house fruits and veggies out all the time buy whole grains and low fat dairy products. Maybe even offer to pack his lunch for him?! And so he doesn’t feel deprived maybe throw a few hershey kisses in his lunch bag with a love note saying to eat the healthy stuff first!!!
