Two words: Crock Pot. Using a crock pot/slow cooker allows you to prepare the meal in the morning or even the night before and just let it cook all day. I use mine at leas once a week, and more often three times a week. There are very few limitations on what you can make in a crock pot (I hear boiled eggs and scallops don’t work at all) and you’d actually be a little surprised at the variety of meals, appetizers, and desserts you can make in one.
Lol weylllll….she can start by getting a very supportive bra and….XD just kidding.
My mother worked three jobs and always managed to put amazing dinners on the table. Her secret was to make everything on Sunday. She’d spend most of the day cooking and we would help. From a couple of pounds of ground beef, she might have meatballs, shepherd’s pie, and meatloaf put away in the freezer. She’d put little instruction sheets on the containers (put in oven at 350 for one hour) so that if we got home before her, we could start dinner. If not she could still just throw the food in the oven and put her feet up.
I’m pretty busy and I have four children in the house, one on the way, so we bought a kitchen appliance (from an infomercial, hahahaha) that we call "the wood chipper" because it slices veggies faster than we could microwave them. We just feed a carrot through the shoot and it blows out of the other end, all sliced up and ready to go.
The best way to find the time is to consider the cost. Sit down and figure out the difference. I can give you an example. One Egg on an english muffin at a restaurant = $5.00. Ten eggs on ten english muffins at home= $5. Eight bucks if you add bacon. Use the money you save in a month to take your family to the movies .

It must be hard to hold the cook book far enough away from you so you are comfortable but close enough to be able to see
