Cooking Live MovieSo today im going to make cashew chicken stir-fry From Leslie Sansone’s (Eat Smart, Walk Strong Book) WHAT YOU NEED: 2 Tablespoons Peanut or Canola oil (Each Tablespoon Used Separately) 1 Pound boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, cut into 1/2/-Inch Strips 1/2 Cup Cashews 1 Jar Stir-Fry Sauce of your choice 1 pound Broccoli Florets, Sliced Thin DIRECTIONS: 1) Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a large nonstick skillet over high heat until quite hot. 2) Add chicken and stir-fry until browned(about 1 min). Remove chicken to a serving dish. 3) Add the remaining tablespoon of the oil to the skillet and stir-fry broccoli about 1min. Add cashews and cool an additional 20 seconds. 4) Add stir-fry sauce, return chicken to skillet, stir and cook until hot and bubbly (About 30 seconds).     this recipe must have round about 1000 calories, when half a cup of cashews are 100 grams, or how much is it? i think 50 grams would be enough.
    But anyway…looks tasty and it´s healthy.

    Yes of course it is with vegetable oil. I would try Rapeseed-oil. You need omega-3-tryglizerins(i hope its the right translation) out of vegetable oil for a good metabolism.

    I think this extrem low fat and low carb thing in America isn´t the right way. The thing is what kind of oil and what kind of carbs you are using and of course not too much of it.

    Well, my cooking days are on _LONNNG_ hold cause I’m disabled & living in a nursing home.
    I would tell them about this healthy cooking method down in the kitchen but I’m afraid they’ll hurt themselves as they roll around on the floor laughing… LOL

    Yo Im from LAtvia.
    Well tahts not bad but i prefer Latvia traditional foods which includes patatos. But the chicken looked realy nice and tasty :)
