we have been married for 2 years together for 4 and he and I have gained weight in the process. I have joined a gym and watching what i am eating all the time. I cook healthy meals for the two of us at dinner, but I can’t control what he eats (or doesn’t eat) at breakfast and lunch. Now he needs to lose at least 25lbs, I am worried that he will just keep getting bigger. I don’t want to hurt his feelings but he is pushing me away because I have tried to do all the subliminal things to get him on board with weight like I am doing but it is not working. What should I do, say, to get him to change? for himself and me. Please give me some advise.
And when i met him he was ripped (hense the reason I married him) and all into working out and staying fit, eating right… now he’s married and thinks its fine to gain weight!

Nearly every couple struggles with food issues. Some may be as simple as one person wanting pepperoni on their pizza while the other wants vegetables and low-fat cheese. While this issue can be solved with a two-for-one topping pizza deal, other food fights are not as simple.
I would avoid criticism and avoid the F word (fat). Sometimes working out together may be another solution since your going to the gym maybe ask him if he’s interested in going with you for support.

    Good Luck!

i would be strict. i dont want to be mean but tell him he needs to lose weight NOW. tell him to get to a gym. he will feel great. it only takes about 1 hour a day, and if hes gaining fat like this, imagine his muscle gains. he could get really ripped, tight abs, and a big chest. ull be happy then. just get him to a gym. be stern. be strict. hell be mean if you have to. start taking away things he likes if he doesnt go
