How do you feel about meal replacements that require water? How many calories are you looking for?

WiseFoods has these as well. They have 2 servings per bag and are meant more for camping. There’s at least are made so you can pour the boiling water directly in the bag and then eat when mixed, ready and have cooled a bit. But if I remeber right, you are looking at $54.00 for 6 bags which includes shipping. These MH ones are by far the better buy…as long as they taste as good.
Also, these bags have about a 5-7 year shelf life.

Spam is on sale this week at Walgreen’s at $1.99 per 12oz per can (1080 calories, expiration 01/2014). Enough to carry 1 person for a day if things go very very south.

@EnduringEagle I put aside food because it seems prudent to be prepared for a variety of bad situations. I don’t really expect to see a genuine “Mad Max/WROL” scenario in my lifetime, but I am prepared reasonably well for almost anything.

Question Please. Why are you prepping for food. Are you really expecting an economic melt down or WROL?
