    I spend most of my money on beer. My food budget isn’t large enough for foods like these. Besides, none of her meals include alcohol…where’s the fun in that?

    people..stop criticizing! She’s only trying to give you small food tips for God’s sake. A LOT of college students today DO have a microwave in thier dorm room or close access to one…same with a college boy fridge. These tips are totally do-able. So, be grateful!

    haha, i don’t care what major you are, but high dietary cholestrol isn’t an indicator of progression of atherosclerosis or any other heart related diseases, that’s actually a huge myth, i used to be in accord with that myth, but it’s actually just the trans, and excess polyunsat fats as well. Moderation is the key word, i’m not saying eat omelets every meal of the day, but eating eggs everyday, and red meat, without insulin spikes associated with starchy carbs like the hamburger bun, is great

    excuse me, i’m a pre-med student and i know for a fact that a diet high in cholesterol is a risk factor for many maladies, such as coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis, stroke, and others. high cholesterol levels ARE risky, and you can’t always rely on sources you find on google. and yes, saturated fats do have health benefits, but in excess they are very harmful, causing maladies such as Type 2 Diabetes, and obesity, which we all know is a major health problem.

    yea eggs would be difficult to cook in a dorm room, but they are healthier, don’t be afraid of the eggs b/c of the cholestrol! dietary cholestrol doesn’t incraese ur risk of heart disease, it actually lowers it, higher cholestrol levels don’t mean a thing either, it’s the triglyceride levels which are bad, eating too many carbs, and releasing too much insulin causes high triclyceride levels, try googling ‘health benefits of saturated fats’

    you can’t cook in a dorm room because most of the time theres no oven in dorm rooms. and some do not allow microwaves either.

    it’s all-fruit jelly in the video. which is fine in moderation. eggs are full of cholesterol, and how are you going to cook those in the dorm room?

    no, eggs, and some fruit, maybe half a piece of bread. Oatmeal is o.k, but eggs are better, jellies, no way, throw thsoe jellies away, full of sugar, just a bad as fruit juice or soda

    Let me try fruits this week. I just remembered that there’s a stall selling fresh fruits a block from where my dorm is.
