I really like this guy. We only have been in a date one time (new year’s eve). So i’m planning to invite him this weekend for a romantic candle light dinner in my apartement. But yet i don’t have any idea what to cook.
So guys would you recommend any good meals that will be ready in one hour cooking and plus the romantic music for setting up the moods?

Spaghetti is fun and playful, but probably not a good idea for a second date. It is a little hard to eat spaghetti gracefully. LOL
I would try baking a Pork Tenderloin, add some scalloped potatoes, and a veggie of your choice. The tenderloin and the scallops will bake in 45 minutes, and you can do the veggie ahead of time.
Add some good bread… something from your favorite bakery, maybe flavored, and you have an easy meal. The tenderloin will be sooo tender and good, I think you would impress him with your cooking skills.
Purchase an italian red wine to complement the meal… like Chianti or something with Sangiovese in the blend. (Red wine should be served at room temp… ideally about 63 degrees.) The wine will add some color to your cheeks, but be careful… a date at your apartment and a little alcohol may lead you to do things you might regret later.
As far as music, keep it what it should be…. background music. You want to focus on each other’s words, and not what song is playing. I would choose classical, or instrumental. I would opt for piano.
Good luck. Hope you have nice time.

spagetti is good. use canned sauce and it takes less than 20 mins to make the spaghetti. a green salad with lettuce is good and you can heat up some bread in the oven. simple and classic

Italian food, try pasta. And wine. With a yummy dessert
As for music, smooth jazz or classical music in the background.
Why don’t you just take him out? Or if you’re feeling badass you could order the food and dish it up…

Spaghetti is a classic lol. I would watch Rachel Ray’s 30-minute meals for inspiration, or simply look online for "one-hour meals/recipes".
As for music, go with some jazz, very soothing to the soul and nice to hear (unless he hates jazz). For mood, make it dark. Use only candlelight, and make sure there’s nothing extremely bright in your home.

These pasta answers are lame. Everybody knows that pasta is the easiest food to make. Do you want to look like you can only cook the easy stuff that doesn’t take a lot of effort? Make a real meal, like some slow smoked ribs and potato salad. It will take longer, but it also shows that you know how to do more than boil water.

Try spaghetti .. its easy, and you could buy the sauce also. Some bread, a salad, and for desert something nice like strawberries and whip cream..you could turn that into something a little romantic, right?
well, the music… I have no idea. The music I would suggest wouldn’t work for you, like Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis,Love Story by Taylor Swift,Love by Keisha Cole, you get my point. Search it on google, i’m sure you’ll get some better choices. Hope this helps! =]

I made chicken parm from scratch one – meat is always a big hit with guys.
On another note: I don’t really think a romantic candlelight dinner at your place is very appropriate for a second date. Maybe third or fourth.

You are most likely too young for my taste in music . but light jazz. With lots of sax! Dinner just keep it simple. Maybe ask him what some of his favorites dinner entrees might be? me you could make happy with hot dogs

Hmmm Sweet and Sour Pork (or chicken)….quite quick and easy to make.
Nasi Goreng….Indonesian/Malay dish….again easy and quick to make.
Failing those ones, Ciabatta Bread Pizza. Easy to make, tasty, easy to share and romantic.Followed by a nice Tiramisu or cheesecake dessert.I would give yourself two and a half hours, as one hour doesn’t give you time to prepare or time to change things if things go a bit pear-shaped.Remember, the best things take time!
As for the music, don’t go down the Britpop road…it depresses the fellas if you stick Blur or Jarvis Cocker on.Maybe a bit of Marvin Gaye or something 80′s and funky.
Good luck.
