Stay away from white rice, white flour, white sugar, white potatoes and any baked goods, pizza, burgers, donuts, candy, cakes, etc.
You do need some carbohydrates in your life for energy – look for whole wheat and whole grain goods, eat oatmeal or cracked wheat for breakfast.
Good luck

Just stay away or limit anything that’s made or has flour in it – cake, breads, pastas, gravy, rice….
You want proteins, veggies and fruit.
Good luck.

Load up of veggies (corn is one of the worst veggies for starch)
Lean protien.
Only have 1 small serving of pasta (try low carb pasta…Dream Field Wheat) or 1 slice of bread, or one small servinbg of rice or potatoes. Stai wirh serving sizes…foudn on the nurtriton lable of each package or for veggies you can google it.
Also remember fruits are carbs but you should not avoid fruits. Usually 1 piece of fruit or serving of fruit is 1 serving of carbs.
Also remember milk has carbs, 1 cup of mik has about 15 grams of carbs or 1 serving, as does juice and so on.
So keep meals like this… protien, Lots of veggies, 1 serving of starch, 1 serving of fruit, and a glass of milk.
Remember 15 grams of carbs equal One servibg of carbs. Try to stick to 3-5 carbs per meal.
