ok. i’m sure these recipes sites are healthy and save in budget.
try these:
1. Raspberry and Oatmeal Swirls Recipe courtesy Nigella Lawson
Ingredients:
2 cups frozen raspberries
4 teaspoons confectioners’ sugar
2 heaping cups Greek or whole milk yogurt
1/2 cup oatmeal cookie crumbs
Special equipment: 6 (3/4-cup capacity) glasses
Directions:
Put the frozen raspberries into a blender with the sugar, and puree. You may have to be patient as they will be difficult to blitz at first since they are extremely hard when frozen.
Spoon 1 to 2 teaspoons of the raspberry puree into each glass, top with 2 tablespoons of the yogurt and sprinkle a layer of cookie crumbs on top.
Cover the crumbs with 1 more layer of yogurt, then raspberry puree and finally cookie crumbs again.
These can be prepared the night before, in which case don’t sprinkle the final layer of cookie crumbs until you are ready to eat the swirls but leave the glasses with the yogurt on top, covered with plastic wrap.

Eggs are healthy and cheap. You can dress them up in so many ways! Different cheeses, herbs, vegetables and methods add a change of scenery. And you can put them on buns, toast, rolls, croissants, or in tortilla’s, anything you have on hand. Oatmeal is also really healthy and cheap. Potatoes too. I boil mine ahead of time and grate them and put them in the fridge for easy hashbrowns and potato cakes. For potato cakes, mix with an egg and some cheese and spices and cook them with some oil on a skillet. MMM!

Oatmeal = cheap + healthy
You can add many things like raisins or yogurt, it may be an acquired taste, but we can’t always eat eggs and sausage and stay healthy either.

My favorite breakfast (which has many variations) is
Spinach and scrambled eggs with a little Parm on top! Serve with toast, muffin, bisquit or in a pita pocket or wrapped in a flour burrito…add bacon chopped small if you have it and eat meat…
This is good for those of us that need to eat foods high in iron…I first came across this in San Francisco in the Italian cafes but it had Italian sausage in it…called a "Joe’s Special" after the famous Little’s Joe’s" in North Beach, SF
