I have been with this person for a very long time, and we have this thing where every other anniversary we plan something and then on our yearly anniversaries we plan huge things together. This month is my turn, and Im having a little block. I am thinking of going to the beach and watching the sun set, and then going to my house where I have a huge pool in the back yard and planning like a picnic with dinner and everything next to the pool with only candles and tiki torches and christmas like lights. The thing is, me and my significant other are on a new diet. We are trying to eat healthier so we will be around longer for each other. But i don’t know what to make for a very romantic dinner that is healthy and tasty. I want to make if all on my own from start to finish, and I love to cook, so it will be no problem to make anything suggested. I am thinking of an appetizer, diner, a salad maybe, and definitely a dessert that is extremely romantic. PLUS, if anyone has any other ideas to make this night completely amazing that would help so much! thank you for all of your help!

Make chicken shish kabobs on the grill!
Marinate cubed chicken breast in fat free Italian dressing, then put on skewers with bell pepper (all colors) and onion pieces, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, par-boiled pea pods, pineapple pieces, canned potato chunks, or anything you can think of.
It’s a really low calorie, low fat but amazingly delicious meal.

My fiancee is a chef so here are some ideals:

    Dinner

Stuffed Manicotti Noodles (those are the big round shells and you stuff them with chicken and low fat ricotta cheese inside, then a little tomato sauce on top)

    or

Sauteed Fish (peppers and onions if desired) mixed with cabbage, yellow squash, and zucchini (very tasty and colorful)

    Appetizer
    Not sure I don’t make appetizer’s much

    Dessert

Fruit dipped in chocolate (strawberries and melon)
Crapes (lightly saute the crapes) add fruit and whipped cream (once had it with a splash of yogurt on the plate and all the flavors came together really well.

    After desert
Play some music and dance and make love

or there is a game called I bet ya don’t know (where a couple asks a question like I bet ya don’t know if i was an animal what would i be? Just silly stuff. And both write down and if he guesses incorrect he takes off something or does something like a back rub.)
