My boyfriend’s parents are coming on Tuesday for dinner. We already know what we’re cooking, but for dessert we want to try the little "shooters" because they are light and not too much like cake. Anyone have a good recipe, besides just layering pudding? Or any ideas for another really light dessert?
Oh, and no alcohol please.

You mainly just layer pudding in a cup with whipped cream on top. However, what I would do is make some brownies, crumple them up, and put that in the layering. It would be pretty tasty!

1 cup cherry pie filling
2 teaspoons almond extract, divided
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon milk
Vanilla ice cream
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine pie filling and 1 tsp. almond extract; set aside. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, milk and remaining extract.
Spoon ice cream into sundae dessert dishes; top with cream cheese and cherry mixtures.
