Cooking school is like any other school, there’s intense amounts of studying, homework and in class tests that have to be accomplished. Aside from that there are some major differences. First and foremost most culinary institutes are private organizations that are completely funded by you (The student). Which means two things, firstly they are going to be more expensive than say community college, and secondly that they don’t have to follow the strictest rule system about accredidation and or graduation policy.
