Visit http://www.atlantaculinary.com/. They have a solid program founded on techniques. This is a career focused school. She does have to have a high school dipoma or a GED so it sounds like you havea couple of years to plan. Unfortunately, culinary school is expensive and she will leave as a line cook, which tends to earn at top scale 11-12 per hour.

I don’t know if they offer culinary programs for someone that young, but I do know that many kitchen stores offer classes. Stores such as William-Sonoma, Sur la Table, etc. Perhaps check and see if you have any of these stores in your area.
