Archives for Italian Cooking Recipes category
Hi, For the next couple of months I have to cook my own food. I do not like to eat outside and at the same time do not want to spend a lot of time on cooking. Please provide me few quick and easy recipes. I do not care what type of food it is, i.e., Italian, Mexican, Middle Eastern, Indian – anything is fine by me.
March 1967 issue with Sharon Percy Rockefeller on the cover. "50 irresistible recipes from antipasto" on the cover. My grandmother loved those recipes and I want to replace them because hers are browning and falling apart. Thank you.

I just love Buddy’s home style italian cooking and I was wondering if anyone know if he has a cook book out with them?
It’s for my year 9 cooking class; I’m a good cook but not ‘advanced’ or anything like that; I can follow a recipe, know basic techneiques, and haven’t wrecked a meal yet! Anyway, I need to make an italian themed dish that shows a variety of different cooking techneiques. I would prefer this dish to not be as popular in Australia/america as it is in Italy (No speggeti, pizza, canneloni e.t.c) I’m thinking dishes like veal parmigana? or seafood marinara? Anyway, thanks for help!
I searched online but dIdn’t find a lot of recipes that I think I would’ve liked. I like dishes with sauces, cheeses, pastas, that whole idea. Keep in mind I’m 14 and I’m just learning to cook
Oh, I forgot to mention. I would like to have some sort of meat, sausage, chicken, spmething like that.

I’m italian. So, i am pretty much the only bad cook in my family. My mom and sister have tried to cook with me before, but they usually end up taking over because I’m "doing it wrong" (which i probably am). This doesn’t hurt my feelings, as i don’t really enjoy cooking, but let’s face it, I’m 19 and I’m going to need to know someday (soon). I know the basics, but they stuff they do is too elaborate for me, I usually end up burning the meal and myself. What are some easy dishes I could make?
two things though, I’m vegetarian, and I’m not looking for Italian recipes. (If you don’t make it the family way… well haha).
I can make mac and cheese (from scratch, not the box), gingerbread cookies (from scratch), and brownies (from scratch). Baking isn’t my problem, it’s more cooking.
Thanks!
I’m making a crockpot recipe, and it said 8 hours, but I thought it said 6 so I started it later.. it’s supposed to be on "low" the whole time, but I was wondering if people who are more experienced with crockpots than I am knew whether it would be okay to turn it to "high" for a couple hours to shave off time? I’ll include the recipe
.
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 lbs sweet italian sausage, meat pushed out of casings
1 medium onion
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 14.5 oz can cannellii beans, drained
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tea black pepper
1 14.5 oz can chiken broth
1 head escarole, washed and chopped into bite-sized pieces
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1. In lg. skillet, med heat, warm oil; add sausage and onions; cook until brown and onions soft, about 7 min. Drain fat.
2. Add mixture to the slow cooker crock, then add other ingredients except escarole and Parm. Mix till tomato paste dissolves.
3. Cover, cook on low for 7 hrs. Add chopped escarole, stir and cook 1 hr. Top w/cheese.
