does anyone have any meal plan suggestions or low carb diet tips for a freshman in college?

after a medical diagnosis I now have to go on a low carb, low sugar diet and have no idea where to even start, nor do I have the ingredients, money, or means of really cooking anything for myself in a dorm room.

I’m not allowed to touch the stove and I don’t really like to eat meat unless it has curry on it or some other type of seasoning so strong it no longer tastes like meat

I have no idea what I should eat but I need to do this diet because I’m starting to have blood sugar problems that make it extremely easy for me to gain weight… like I’d say my metabolism is probably 1/5 as fast as it used to be because I’m pre-diabetic so I know I need to do this

What can I eat? Other than a daily hamburger patty without bread… I don’t know what I can eat on this diet.

I’m usually a vegetarian, but I incorporated turkey into my diet for a low-carb diet.
So I put the remnants of the turkey in a crock pot with water, added pepper & mustard & garlic to the water.
It’s on low & cooking now. Should I add anything low-carb to the pot?
What should I do with this turkey-water once it’s done?
I want to stick to the low-carb diet & I don’t want any other types of meats in the diet.

Best low carb cookbook?

I’m looking for a very low carb cookbook. One that stays true to low carb (aka staying away from fake ingredients like sweet and low, truvia, ect.) that is like cheating the low carb system.

I want it centered around your typical pantry items that you can find at any store; trying to stay away from expensive, rare items.

Lastly, if the recipes are simple. I can cook, but want meals that do not take all day to prepare. More of an ‘on the go’ type attitude.

I want to expand my cooking skills in making more healthy things, what are some healthy low carb meal recipes??

I have been living a low carb lifestyle for almost 6 months now. I am down about 60 pounds and I feel amazing. However, I am beginning to get bored with food, so I am on the hunt for new recipes. I have found a lot that call for maybe 1/2 cup or less of panko bread crumbs. Is it possible to substitute that for something a little less carb friendly? Can I completely omit it? Any and all low carb suggestions are appreciated!! Thanks so much!
I found recipes for cheesy cauliflower pancakes, zucchini cakes, baked asparagus..I know it is only being used to ‘hold’ the recipe together, I am just wondering if there is something out there that does the same thing.

I’ve been on a low carb/low fat diet for the last month or so and lost a quite a bit of weight i felt good about myself. i hate my dad for cooking fattening stuff and making me eat it i actually want to cry. today i had a banana and some spaghetti with tomato sauce(no cheese beause i hate it) it was in a smallish bowl and not quite full. i dont know how many calories it was and i cant go and check the grams/calories in the pack cuz my dad threw it away and it might look weird if im digging through the garbage. i can feel myself growing bigger by the second and im trying really hard not to cry. i will not weigh myself cuz im scared. so how many calories would it have been and will a medium portion make me gain weight cuz i havent had carbs in a long time? if i dont have anything else today can i still lose weight?
